Frederick Mulhaupt was born in 1871 in Rock Port, Missouri. He studied art some of the very good schools in United States and exhibited all over the country. He was active in the Boston North Shore Art Association. Mulhaupt wintered in New York and summered in Gloucester, Mass., when he reached the height of his artistic career, he moved to Gloucester, Mass full time.

This painting is an oil on board farm scene signed Mulhaupt on the lower right. The painting is in very good condition and measures 14 x 18 framed.
