This is an original oil on panel signed on the right Harrington Fitzgerald. Mr. Fitzgerald was born in Philadelphia, PA in 1847. He started and owned his own newspaper. Mr. Fitzgerald became interested in art in the late 1860's. He studied under teachers as George Holmes, Thomas Eakins, and James B. Sword. He also studied under George W. Nicholson and John Singer Sargent. He died September in 1930 in Williamstown, Pennsylvania.

The painting measures 28 x 37 with gold frame.
